I worked on Deniz Gezmiş and his companions, who have earned an important place in Turkish political life and in the memory of the people, on high-grammage paper using charcoal pencil. For the 3 rose flowers by which they are remembered among the people, I used colored pencils. I connected the roses to one another in dedication to their unity and solidarity. The mountain silhouette in the upper left corner represents their difficult lives, while the empty space in the upper right corner serves as negative space.
