ALMULA YENİKAZANCI
Visual Arts Artist
Born in 1976, Almula Yenikazancı is a graduate of the Visual Arts Teaching Department of the Faculty of Education at 100th Year University. She ended her teaching career, which began in 1998, as of 2025, redirecting all her focus to her artistic productions.
The artist masterfully blends oil paint, acrylic and watercolor techniques, interpreting the balance between abstract and concrete with an original language of expression. Stylization is prominent in her works; the unity of light, color and emotion creates a powerful field of expression. Yenikazancı's productions not only present a visual aesthetic, but also establish a deep and personal connection with the viewer.
For the artist, colors are not just a choice; they are the purest and most powerful expression of her inner world.
In her art practice, the artist approaches traditional Turkish motifs and calligraphic elements of Ottoman calligraphy art from a contemporary perspective, reinterpreting this heritage with a modern composition understanding. This approach gives her works both cultural and timeless aesthetic value.
With a production understanding that goes beyond the canvas surface, Yenikazancı creates original works on different grounds such as wood, fabric and embroidery; in each work, she aims to reflect what she feels rather than the real. Her vibrant color palette, layered compositions and powerful language of expression directly convey the artist's inner world to the viewer.
Each work is unique, original and unrepeatable, giving not only aesthetic but also identity and character to the space it occupies. Some works are not only seen but felt. In this aspect, the works go beyond decorative objects and stand out as artistic investments with collection value.
As of 2025, the artist actively participates in group and solo exhibitions, continuing her productions openly to collaborations with art galleries, interior designers, corporate projects and individual collectors.
