Born in İzmir. Graduated from Çukurova University Faculty of Education, Art Education Department in 2007. ASUMAN BARKA SEVDİNLİ Born in İzmir. Graduated from Çukurova Faculty of Education, Art Education Department, Muzaffer Tire Workshop in 2007. Between 2007/2014, organized exhibitions at Gallery Altan in Adana. Worked as a volunteer for two years at Petrol Ofisi Primary School. Participated in Birgurupinsan Art Platform and Journey to Anatolia exhibitions and many group exhibitions. Opened personal exhibitions in İzmir, İstanbul, Mersin, Gaziantep, Adana, Bodrum. Art is more than a tool of pleasure, it is a tool for people to establish relationships with each other and share their feelings and thoughts. Thus humanity attains enlightenment and well-being. The cultural heritage of Anatolian Civilizations that lived on these lands before us are the building blocks that make us who we are; saying "Once upon a time, within time," she tries to establish connections between symbols and cultures with contemporary depictions by utilizing indicators belonging to these cultures, conducting examination and research. With a symbolist language, she makes references to human problems of the past and present, inviting intellectual effort and questioning. She expresses her purpose by saying: "I aim to reach ourselves with a new, original, consistent expression."
