Ayşe Türkmen is an interior designer and visual producer who explores the relationship between space, emotion and narrative.
She produces works by combining her design approach from the interior design discipline with the concepts of atmosphere, tactility and spatial memory. Through renders, digital visualization and conceptual space constructions; she focuses on designing areas that are not only seen, but also felt.
Music, silence, rhythm and spatial experience hold an important place in her works. In each production, she aims to leave an emotional trace as much as an aesthetic one. Adopting a minimal but characteristic expression, Türkmen treats interior space not only as a functional environment; but as an experiential area that carries memory, feeling and identity.
In her productions that stand at the border between art and design, she invites the viewer to connect with the atmosphere of the space.
