Born in 1993, Berjeh Üner is an interdisciplinary artist who works on the traces left behind by everyday life, consumer culture, memory, and transformation. In her artistic practice, she treats organic waste and post-use residual materials as carriers of memory. By transforming seemingly ordinary materials such as coffee grounds, eggshells, pomegranate peels, fish skin, and the like, she constructs new narratives where personal experience and collective memory intersect.
Her works, which move between painting, collage, digital production, epoxy applications, and site-specific installations, question the relationship between the transient and the permanent. Üner aims to make visible the invisible stories carried by objects that are often deemed worthless, seeking to bring viewers face to face once again with the overlooked layers of everyday life.
