The works created with a surreal narrative are made not on canvas as usual, but on wood and stones. The artist wanted to transfer the paradox that humans nurture within themselves and never give up carrying to her choice of materials and emphasize it through this means. The fact that wood once flourished, branched, sprouted, curved and spread life around with the vitality it carried within, and its hardness after being taken from its nature and lack of life's sparkle, refers to humanity's disconnection from its own soul. We humans create works on wood knowing that it will one day disappear and fade away, and then try to protect it so that it won't disappear. However, it is in the nature of wood to rot, mold, crack, become worm-eaten and transform in the natural cycle. We persistently force both it and ourselves into molds in this natural cycle. We choose to distance ourselves from our nature, and not only do this to ourselves but also subject every living and non-living object around us to this. The artist makes her subject choices for her works based on the psychological crises and internal conflicts that society and particularly humans are dragged into. The artist's works, together with the definitions put forward by theorists, come to life based on her inner journey and awareness. The artist, who is also interested in ancient Turkish symbols and mythology, in her works

The artist wanted to transfer the paradox that humans cultivate within themselves and never give up carrying to his choice of materials and emphasize it through this means. The fact that wood once flourished, branched, sprouted, twisted and spread life around with the life it carried within, and its hardness and lack of life's brilliance after being taken from its nature, refers to man's disconnection from his own soul. We humans create works on wood knowing that it will disappear and fade away one day, and then try to protect it so that it doesn't disappear.
