She completed her undergraduate education at Mimar Sinan University in 2006, her graduate education at Parsons School of Design in New York, and after working as a designer at Universal Buzz and iConcept companies in New York for a while, she returned to Istanbul.
After working as a lecturer in the Industrial Product Design department at Arel University in Istanbul, she opened her own workshop in Sıraselviler and began her doctoral studies at Işık University. In 2013, she started teaching Higher Level Visual Arts course in the IB department at Eyüboğlu College. She completed her thesis titled "Educational Model for Detecting Psychological Disorders in Secondary School Students" in 2019.
In 2023, she also started teaching at İstek Foundation Atanur Oğuz College. In 2024, she left both schools to focus on her art work in her own workshop and opened eight exhibitions.
As of September 2025, she returned to her academic identity and started working as Assistant Professor two days a week at the Faculty of Architecture and Design at Aydın University, and two days a week at Yeni Yüzyıl Faculty of Communication.
Deniz Kireç, who teaches IB (International Baccalaureate), AP (Advanced Placement) and Portfolio courses at Veritas Academy, Gorilla Course, Saksı Campus and SoulPrint Academy between 2024-2026; is preparing her associate professorship file, publishing articles in international peer-reviewed journals, participating in conferences and opening mixed and personal exhibitions for her art works.
Deniz Kireç, who also sang in the Boğaziçi Jazz Orchestra in recent years, can speak English at an advanced level and Italian and German at an intermediate level.
