Didem Yüksekdağ Contemporary Artist / Multidisciplinary Creative Born in Istanbul in 1981, Didem Yüksekdağ studied cinema, brand management, and international relations. Throughout different periods of her career, she worked in magazine publishing, agency, and media sectors, gaining experience in visual culture, communication language, and creative production. Today, she brings together the knowledge she has acquired from all these disciplines in her contemporary art practice. In her artistic production, she combines figurative expression with strong color layers, textural surfaces, and intuitive deformations, focusing on human psychology, identity, relationships, and emotional layers. In her works, which carry neo-expressive and contemporary decorative influences, acrylic, mixed media, and surface explorations hold an important place. Her figures, which break the perception of perfection, strike a balance between emotion, fragility, and inner transformation. Continuing her individual design and painting productions, the artist aims to take part in national and international projects in the field of contemporary art.
