güven araz

Güven Araz was born in Istanbul in 1964. After studying Physics Engineering at ITU for 3 years, he enrolled in the Sculpture department of Marmara University Faculty of Fine Arts. Upon graduating in 1989, he began teaching Sculpture and Drawing. From 2012 onwards, he taught painting, sculpture and acrylic painting courses for 6 years at a private Fine Arts High School. Over the years, he participated in many group exhibitions and is currently creating acrylic paintings on canvas. "In my recent works, I transfer unknown, yet undiscovered worlds onto canvas by blending them together. On my canvases, I aim to present worlds that captivate my interest — such as space, music, ocean, underwater, physics and geometry — to art lovers through my own imagination."
