Ceren Bilgen was born in Istanbul in 2001. She graduated from Marmara University Faculty of Fine Arts, Painting Department in 2025. In her art practice, she addresses the chaotic structure of the human mind, states of decay and dissolution with an expressionist approach. She works with oil paint and mixed techniques on paper; occasionally incorporates waste materials into the surface, creating physical and emotional tensions. Dense paint layers, scraping marks and deformations take shape around existential and psychological themes. She continues her teaching experience gained over approximately four years as a field that nourishes her production practice, and still gives individual and group lessons in her own studio.
