Malike Kırca Bayşu

Malike Kırca Bayşu's artistic practice reconstructs the dynamic bonds between nature and humanity on a surrealist and abstract aesthetic plane. Combining her mastery of acrylic on canvas with a rich and layered color palette, the artist invites the viewer into the depths of the subconscious. The existential anxiety she carries regarding the disappearance of nature directly shapes both the production process of her works and her artistic vision.

The artist, a graduate of 19 Mayıs University's Painting-Art Department, continues their work in their own studio following a long career in art education. With an artistic vision centered on nature and the environment, they interpret themes of global warming and ecological balance through acrylic paint, sculpture, and mixed media techniques. The artist's practice is built upon an environmentalist philosophy that views art as a way of life. Having founded the Independent Artists Group in 2023, they have since served as the group's curator, presenting numerous exhibitions to audiences.
