Shattering Realities and Spaces ! I work in that charged moment just before a glance turns into obsession. My images are built from fragments of reality, beauty, desire and performance; cut, layered and reassembled until they begin to vibrate like a scene you almost remember from a film. I am drawn to the shimmer of surfaces: satin, skin, shadow, brilliance. But beneath that shimmer, something more restless is always moving. A gaze lingers too long. A body becomes a symbol. A beautiful image begins to reveal its tension, its hunger, its hidden fragility. Through analog paper collage art and digital video collage art, I create works that feel intimate and cinematic; like visions caught between seduction and dissolution. Glamour, fashion references, eroticism and feminine beauty, memory and fantasy; drifting within the frame, never fully still, always carrying another meaning beneath their elegance. What interests me is that fragile threshold where attraction deepens into unease and an image opens further rather than closing. My work lives right there: in the shimmer, in the distortion, in the echo after the light has passed. This is the intention and purpose in my working experience. Mirco Piccioli
