I am a multidisciplinary artist who produces painting, writing and performance. Art represents my search for meaning. When painting, I adopt a process-focused approach, and my main areas of interest consist of opening space for uncertainty, embracing improvisation and maintaining creative curiosity. I use acrylic and collage techniques; I shape my production with vibrant colors, detailed patterns, intuitive layers, abstractions and naive figures. Rather than recreating reality, I prioritize bringing imagination to the forefront and producing images that will activate the viewer's own imagination. I value words; I write poetry to describe my paintings, incorporate written expressions into my compositions, or make paintings inspired by poetry. I draw from transformation stories, psychology, mythology, esotericism, feminism and philosophical thought, and I aim to create experiences that will contribute to the viewer's personal search for meaning.
I was born in Istanbul in 1989. I started painting in 2014. I have been working as an independent artist since 2018. I continue my production first abroad on the street, then between Istanbul, Kayaköy and since 2026 in Istanbul.
