HIDDEN WORLDS treats an ordinary-looking stone surface not as a boundary, but as a threshold. At first glance heavy, silent, and still, the surface reveals its own geography as one delves deeper. The crack within the stone is no longer merely a fracture. It transforms into the entrance of another scale, continuing with cliffs, water, light, mist, and life.
At the heart of the work lies not a physical landscape, but perception itself. The human mind defines the world according to scale, distance, and habit. We see a stone as an object, a mountain as scenery. Yet when the scale of forms changes, these distinctions begin to dissolve. A surface viewed up close can become a planet, a small crack a valley, and an ordinary texture a universe carrying its own infinity.
For this reason, HIDDEN WORLDS does not so much invent a new world as question how little of the world that already exists we actually see.
The hardness of stone and the life within it, geometric order and organic formation, the seen and the imagined meet on the same surface. Reality does not disappear; it simply loses its certainty.
The work is the first piece of the TEXTURES AND DREAMS collection, which developed from the artist's observations of real-world surfaces, natural stone, cracks, and organic formations. Human direction, visual selection, and generative artificial intelligence tools are parts of a hybrid digital production process. Technology is not the subject of the work; it is a tool used to expand the boundaries of the visible world.
