Lost Memory

The "Lost Memory" series was created based on photographs from my childhood album; images that I can no longer remember, but that seem like someone else's memories. The series visualizes forgotten, fragmented or missing memories. Sometimes they appear as gaps or stains. Faces and identities represent fragments of memories; those fleeting moments we forget immediately after hearing a sound. Like sounds, smells, textures and emotions, they symbolize the presence of people in memory.
