Frequently asked questions
Do I need to be a Collecist artist?
No. Anyone with an exhibition opening can apply: artists, galleries, collectives, municipal halls, cafés, hotel lobbies. Whether or not you’re a Collecist member makes no difference.
When should I start?
Ideally, get in touch 7–10 days before the opening, as the announcement wave starts ahead of it. If your exhibition has already opened, it’s not too late; we’ll plan around the days left.
I don’t have a poster or a video. What then?
We prepare the ad visual from images of your works. If you have a poster, we adapt it to ad formats.
Where do the ads appear, and who sees them?
On Instagram and Facebook, in feeds and stories. We map out who sees them together with you: the area around the exhibition, people interested in art, followers of galleries and museums. The World package also adds collector audiences abroad.
Where does my money go?
Most of the package goes straight to ads; the rest covers design, management and the report. The breakdown is listed in every package, and in the report you see the spending item by item.
Is the guest book safe when it comes to personal data?
The guest book only collects details from visitors who give explicit consent, and it works with a KVKK (Turkish data protection law) privacy notice. The list is shared only with you; Collecist doesn’t use it for anything else.
What does the free calendar listing include?
Your exhibition appears on the Collecist Exhibition Calendar and the exhibition map. There are no ads. You can switch to a package later if you like.
