Beyond Time: The Silhouette and Continuity
TR
As another exploration within my "From the Archive and Origins" series, I pull the memory of Budapest out of linear time.
Though the great master Roskovics appears as a silhouette, he is rendered with a presence that feels far more alive than the blurred, intentionally imperfect tourist couple drifting in the background. The sunglasses worn by these figures reflect their presence as travelers, experiencing that exact slice of time within their own reality. As the moments and figures in the scene blur and pass by, the tree standing firmly in the center—anchored right where time passes—acts as a powerful symbol of unshakable "continuity," paradoxically belonging to all eras at once, even amidst a warp in space. The timeless presence of the artist and the cyclical cycle of our roots defy time in defiance of a blurring world.
