Ayla Letmathe

Ayla is a Turkiye-born artist based on Germany. In 1998, Ayla graduated with a Master's degree from Marmara University Social Sciences Institute Department of Fine Arts. She has worked as a studio assistant at Tampa I Prodigy Art Project (FL,USA) and worked as an art teacher at Academy Istanbul and also at her studio giving classes to adults and children. Her master's thesis was published by Humanist Culture and Art Magazine and she was also a critic for art exhibitions of Art Magazines and several newspapers. Ayla's art has been seen in many official's interior and exterior rooms and buildings. She's conducted workshops for children and adults about the history of visual art and how to look at paintings in an artistic way. Ayla is a mixed media artist. She uses many different types of media in her art work. Her depicts figurative and abstract images which are focus on observation of nature. She is mesmerized by nature's constant change and movement where symbolize life's dynamic essence. She's made several personal and group exhibitions in Turkey, Europe and the United States. Some of her paintings are in private collections in Holland, England, Turkey, USA and Germany.
