This work addresses the theme of 'crowded loneliness' of urban life through a colorful perspective over the monumental architecture of Ankara Station. Warm light beams filtering through massive glass surfaces combine with marble patterns on the ground, creating a cinematic atmosphere in the space. These steps taken in different directions symbolize how people remain spiritually in their own isolated worlds despite their physical proximity within the pace of modern life.
Although the place we look at is a transportation center, what we see are individual stories within a collective movement and the timeless traces these stories leave on an architectural stage.
