When my feet touched the coolness of the sand, the world fell silent for a moment.
The waves were like an old friend washing away the chaos within me.
As the wind tossed my hair, it was actually untangling my thoughts.
I closed my eyes.
My heart aligned with the horizon.
There was no past in that moment, no future.
Only the rhythm of the water and that calm power growing within me…
The flutter of my dress was not an escape;
quite the opposite, it was a walk towards myself.
With each step, I became a little lighter.
Perhaps I was leaving behind not a burden, but an identity.
The sea taught me patience;
The wind, courage.
The sky, that boundaries are illusions.
And I understood that day:
Freedom is not going somewhere,
it's being able to remain yourself somewhere.
With each step, I felt the peace of the sea, the freedom of the wind.
