This link of the series tells the balance of delicacy and power in the queen's inner world through spring symbolism. The blooming branches (sakura/spring branches) and freely flying birds accompanying the composition add a melancholic spring atmosphere to the work. The birds represent the queen's longing for freedom, her silent thoughts that she cannot reflect to the outside world.
