Cemile

This sculpture work, inspired by a real event, is based on a text woven around the relationship between a girl named Cemile and her mother. The model created from clay was cast in plaster and then formed with polyester resin material and patinated. The henna image, which is a detail from the text, has been emphasized and highlighted in the girl's hair and hands.
