The documentary "InnSæi: The Sea Within" is shaped around the Icelandic concept of "innsæi". Innsæi means intuition, insight, inner awareness and empathy. The documentary explains how the pace of modern life and constant exposure to stimuli weakens our connection with this inner intuition. The installation I created opens the door to a space without domination, shaped by my personal memory's relationship with nature. The fact that the mold I received from my grandmother's hands is transparent and contains lace pieces questions the connection between both timelessness and death with nature. The charcoal pomegranate flower pattern associates nature itself with women.
