It tells of loneliness within crowds and a silent search for freedom.
The city fading on a misty horizon symbolizes the noise left behind; while the young woman standing alone by the seaside represents that fragile moment when one is left alone with oneself. The birds gliding in the sky whisper not of escape, but of remembering: Every departure is partly staying, every silence is an inner conversation.
Neither a complete separation nor a definite arrival… Just stopping to look, breathing, and shouting what's inside to the sea.

The inspiration for this photograph came from the increasing loneliness of people in crowds. When the noise, expectations, and endless rush of the city tire people, they too seek an escape. To leave everything behind. But wherever one goes, they carry their own burden with them. I wanted to emphasize this dilemma in the photograph. It's a state of mind suspended between escaping and staying.
The story begins with the silent waiting of a woman who has come to the seashore. She carries on her shoulders the weight of years passing one after another, unspoken sentences, and resentments buried within. The city hidden behind the fog on the opposite shore represents her past; it's no longer clear, but it hasn't been completely erased either. The birds flying in the sky symbolize the possibility of freedom rather than freedom itself: A possibility that everyone looks at and sighs for, but most of the time lacks the courage to pursue.
