This marble sculpture is part of the Antonini memorial tomb located in the Verona Monumental Cemetery (Cimitero Monumentale di Verona). The work depicts an elderly noble woman (believed to be Giulia Pindemonte Moscardo) being comforted by an angel or taken to heaven. The sculpture includes an angel figure with detailed wings and a bronze medallion under an arch surrounded by marble details. The tomb is located in one of Verona's oldest cemeteries, in an area that houses many artistic sculptures.
