Are we pearls, what are we?

The starting point of my work is the struggle to exist, which I see as a common experience of life. I address this concept not only through the human lens, but through the intertwined transformation of nature, other living beings, and time. Layers, writings, traces, and voids form the visual language of this search. For me, a grain of sand transforming into a pearl over time is a symbol of patience, transformation, and the invisible layers of life. The figures, natural forms, and symbols in my paintings do not so much tell specific stories as point to a shared experience of existence. Rather than offering a definitive judgment, each work invites the viewer to reflect on their own story of existence. For me, painting is an ongoing field of research and discovery aimed at understanding the layers of life.
