In my paintings, rather than depicting a landscape, I want to make visible the memory of nature's color, texture and movement.
For me, nature is not just plants, trees or sky, but a field consisting of the relationships between partially abstract forms and colors among themselves.
Each color is a movement, each tone is an emotion; that's why forms remain abstract.
Each surface I create on canvas is shaped by layers of color that accumulate over time.
Ayça İşeri is a painter known for her contemporary abstract works that draw from nature and inner memory. She establishes an intuitive connection with the viewer through layered surfaces, soft color transitions, and natural tones. Her works are shaped around the concepts of balance, void, and tranquility.
