I am a Retired Faculty Member. I have been painting for 20 years. I work with acrylic paint. I enjoy working on Landscape and Figure. My style is impressionist or abstraction. I was introduced to painting in İzmir. I started working in Ramadan Tuzcuoğlu's studio. Later, I continued working in Serdar Leblebici's studio, also in İzmir. Then I continued my work in Resul Aytemur's studio in Istanbul. Afterwards, I worked in Civan Aydın's studio and currently I continue my work with our teacher Erdinç Babat. My works have been exhibited in our end-of-year exhibitions every year. Painting has become my way of expressing my emotions. Daily life, tranquility, nature, old houses and gardens are my favorite subjects. My aim is to pass on this sense of tranquility to those who view my paintings. I think it is important to be able to look at a painting after the chaos of daily life and feel a little peace.
I am a graduate of Ege University, Department of English Language and Literature. I have worked at various Anatolian High Schools and Dokuz Eylül University, Galatasaray University, and Kadir Has University. I took my first steps in painting at Ramadan Tuzcuoğlu's studio in İzmir. Later, I worked at Serdar Leblebici's studio. Afterwards, I took lessons from masters such as Resul Aytemur and Civan Aydın in Istanbul. I am currently continuing painting lessons with Erdinç Babat. My works have been exhibited in numerous group exhibitions. I particularly enjoy conveying subjects such as daily life, landscapes, and old buildings in an impressionist style. I mostly work with acrylic paint. I try to express my emotions through painting and convey them to viewers. After the chaos of daily life, my main goal is to look at a painting and feel — and make others feel — the peace and tranquility within it....
I exhibited my works from the year-end exhibitions of the teachers and workshops I worked with.
