SEDA AKÇA

Seda Akça is an Istanbul-based visual artist. In her works, she explores the tension between human experience, emotion and space. Particularly with dark expressionist and surrealist influences, she reveals the invisible aspects and emotional layers of daily life through painting and installation works. Her art invites the viewer to question both visually and emotionally. While expressing the inner world outwardly through color and composition, she creates depth through careful use of space, void and detail. While her works are nourished by personal experiences and observations, they also offer an open space for thinking about collective themes and human relationships.
