Çağatay Özkefeli's artistic journey began in 1989 at Marmara Academy of Fine Arts. The artist, who became acquainted with linoleum, engraving and lithography techniques in Mustafa Aslıer's workshop, established a solid foundation thanks to the fundamental art education he received with Gürbüz Doğan Ekşioğlu and Fevzi Karakoç .

During his 30-year professional career working as Art Director and Visual Arts Educator, Özkefeli began to view the art world from a different perspective through his collecting experience at the Dolu Art Contemporary Art private gallery between 2012-2013. This experience became an important turning point for him to understand the process of art's evolution more deeply.

In the fall of 2024, bringing together this long-standing artistic accumulation with a new vision, Özkefeli became the founding partner of the concept and design of COLLECİST. Along with artworks and curatorial services, COLLECİST also provides educational support for collectors in artwork selection to instill confidence in its clients. The platform makes art collecting transparent and accessible, ensuring that trust is experienced at the highest level in this field.
