At first glance, this looks like a birth scene; pure, hopeful, sacred.
But as you get closer, the scent of decay hidden behind the light reaches you.
The mother has taken her baby in her arms; as if the world has stopped, everything has fallen silent.
But the silence is not from peace; it is the remnant of a suppressed scream.
The silhouettes in the background...
Only shapes remain from humanity, they are there like names no longer remembered.
Perhaps they were once hearts that knew how to love, but now they have become punished, forgotten, cursed souls that even God has turned away from.
The helpless souls cursed by God are melting in endless pain...
The mother is aware of everything.
Along with her milk, she is also giving her fears to her baby.
She embraces with love but cannot hide the unshakeable fear she carries within.
Perhaps she knows...
This baby will grow up one day, the light in its eyes will begin to fade and it too will merge into its own darkness.
Because sometimes the most innocent-looking hands await the greatest darkness.
Innocence is pregnant with darkness.
And the purest form of pain begins with hope.
Evil always waits like a shadow.
And one day, everyone you thought was "good" wounds you.
Those you considered most sacred become the ones who forget you most.
Even a mother's heart can turn to stone over time, even an innocent's laughter can turn into a scream.
This painting is not a birth.
It is the silent echo of a curse.
