Hypnos

Hypnos is designed with inspiration from the poppy plant. Its thin and rising form symbolizes the serene flow of sleep, while the textures on the surface remind us of the fragmented nature of dreams. The detail in the upper section is conceived as a door opening to the unknown realm of the mind. Like the nature of the poppy, the work makes visible both tranquility and the fragile boundary between consciousness and the unconscious.
