In the steppe, a deserted, quiet, motionless water trough. As if abandoned. No trees, no greenery, no other living thing in sight. A great silence and tranquility. The only messenger of life is the blue of the water. In its Central Anatolian name, it's a water trough, with its well at the head called avadanlık.
But soon the flock will come to drink, with their shepherd at the head. The place will come alive. Noises, scurrying about, bleating, dust and smoke. Life will come to the steppe for a while. Then the flock will slowly withdraw and leave. The sounds will fade away, the dust and smoke will settle. Silence again "Tranquility"
