I deliberately used cold tones; because snow has no voice but has a strong memory. The melting of light in the misty atmosphere tells not the reality of the space, but the impression it left in my mind. When making this painting, I wasn't bidding farewell to a city, but to my father whom I sent to eternity early. I depicted him in the human figure
