My works are based on the first perceptual trace left in the mind by brief glances directed at objects and landscapes. Instead of reproducing the details of visual reality, I structure the silhouettes, proportions and mass relationships that remain in memory through a suprematist and geometric language; the knowledge of proportion, rhythm, composition and spatial balance from my architectural education forms the formal backbone of this structure. Forms that appear abstract and fragmented at first glance often establish a stream of consciousness that operates unnoticed by overlapping with the viewer's primitive visual memory through house, landscape or everyday object silhouettes; the lower layers evoking ground and vegetation, and the upper layers evoking sky and atmosphere support this intuitive reading. This approach enables the viewer to establish an involuntary connection with the work at a conscious or unconscious level, creating perceptual contact at first sight. Therefore, these paintings should be considered not merely as aesthetic abstractions, but as interdisciplinary plastic thought fields that investigate the relationship between perception, memory and form.
