This work is inspired by the ancient city of Ephesus, where memory is embedded in stone and silence carries the weight of countless lives. Rather than depicting ruins as static remains, the piece approaches them as living witnesses- holding echoes of voices, movements, and forgotten stories.
The composition reflects a sensory connection to place, where touch becomes a form of perception. Surfaces, structure, and fragmented forms suggest layers of time collapsing into the present moment.
This work explores the idea that history is not distant, but continuously felt. The past breathes through textures and spaces, inviting the viewer into an intimate encounter with what has been left behind.
