Cross-Section of Movement is a part of the "Layers and Memory" series, focusing on the concept of movement and time. While the circular form represents wholeness and continuity, the fragmented and layered structure within this form makes visible the frozen state of movement in a single moment. The surface created through collage and assemblage techniques generates dynamic tension through lines opening in different directions and sharp geometric fragments. Each layer in the work corresponds to a different moment of movement. This structure implies that time is not linear; but fragmented, overlapping and continuously reconstructed experience. "Cross-Section of Movement" represents not the movement itself, but an intensified moment within that movement.
