The origin of Aster is based on the goddess of justice Astraea in Greek mythology. As Astraea witnesses the corruption of humanity, she cries every seven years and her tears falling to the ground turn into Aster flowers, this flower is a symbol of resistance and hope. Inspired by the mythological reference, the aster flower vase design was created.

I started the work by shaping it on a plaster lathe beforehand, then I made it into a vase by molding and casting, and completed the work by applying underglaze decoration technique in various colors and 1050 degree transparent glaze application.
