Every emotion, every form of expression where words fall short and letters are crammed into sentences — this is my world, where I tell it all with my brushes, scarce in words but infinite in feelings.
Painting the subconscious, this is my world.
To express the unspeakable.
I cannot tell it, I must draw it.
Born in Istanbul in 1995, the artist frames a drawing and production practice spanning over 23 years at the intersection of the subconscious, dark aesthetics, and existential philosophy. Placing gothic elements and the raw, uncompromising power of women at the center of her artistic production, the artist approaches her figures not as naively fragile, but as powerful symbols of a cycle of destruction and rebirth.
Working primarily with oil and acrylic techniques on canvas, the artist draws inspiration from psychology, music, and processes of personal transformation. Her works express the dark and unexplored depths of the mind and the layers of the subconscious in a sensory language. Her production, which focuses on the transformative capacity of the human spirit and the unwavering power found within darkness, invites the viewer to confront themselves.
The artist, who exhibits her works on international collector platforms and in digital selections (such as birsanat.com), continues her practice in her studio in Istanbul.
