Two Poles of Existence
TR
In this work where I poured the storm in my mind onto canvas, I represent the extreme points of the emotional spectrum. Dark stagnation and chaotic energy unite in perfect contrast.

This work explores the extreme boundaries of human psychology; the sharp and jarring duality of bipolar emotional states. This 35x50 cm oil painting translates the inevitable collision between two different worlds of the mind into visual language.
The deep and cold blue tones on the left represent the heavy, stagnant and silent melancholy of depression; while the burning reds and oranges on the right symbolize the uncontrollable, chaotic and high energy of mania. This dramatic transition between the two poles is not just a color contrast, but also two different faces of existence.
The artist has captured the tension between these two worlds on canvas using the textural advantages of oil paint. Part of the 'Two Poles of the Soul' project, this work invites the viewer to witness both the peace within darkness and the storm within light. This is an artistic manifesto of a soul torn from one extreme to another, striving to find its own center and balance.
