Hello, I am Sezer Güleç. I am an artist working in the field of figurative painting. My interest in art began with stage and set design education, and I later completed my undergraduate degree in painting, developing my work in this direction. In my works, I focus on the themes of the human figure, historical memory, and cultural heritage. I am particularly influenced by Caravaggio's use of light and shadow, and I revisit this approach in my own works through my personal interpretation. In addition, I research the traces of Ottoman cultural heritage in the Balkans and Anatolia, and I strive to reflect this historical accumulation in my artistic production. I work with various techniques, primarily oil painting, and I continue my artistic journey through exhibitions, workshops, and cultural projects.

Sezer Güleç is an artist working in the field of figurative painting. She is a graduate of Karabük University Safranbolu Fethi Toker Faculty of Fine Arts and Design, Department of Painting. She previously completed the Stage and Set Design program at Akdeniz University. In her work, she addresses the relationship between light and shadow through the lens of historical memory, cultural heritage, and human experience. She is particularly influenced by the dramatic use of light and powerful figural approach of Caravaggio, one of the most significant painters of the Baroque period, and brings this approach to her contemporary work through her own interpretation. Ottoman cultural heritage, traces of traditional life, and historical spaces hold an important place in her artistic practice. She conducts research on Ottoman traces in the Balkans and Anatolia, interpreting this accumulated knowledge in her paintings in relation to concepts of cultural memory and identity. Working primarily in oil painting and drawing, the artist participates in various national and international exhibitions, workshops, and cultural projects.
