The Aura series focuses on moments that are invisible but felt, on the permeable boundaries between a person's inner world and their surroundings. While the series references Walter Benjamin's concept of the "aura" of an artwork - that is, its unrepeatable state of being - it also explores how internal energy becomes visible through form and color. This work was created with watercolor on paper. The piece consists of the combination of 4 separate parts.
