It involves re-examining the process of existence and the search for meaning during the Covid period by fragmenting the day and adding it to time. The layers in the mixed media work (collage, marker, acrylic paint, oil paint, original print) express the fragmented states of the past and the manifestation of inner encounters.

"Fragmented States" is a work produced during the pandemic period. It consists of a collage of a series of 9 pieces printed with woodblock printing on bristol elegies. Each portrait has been subjected to different interventions and contains changes similar to shifts in mood over a time period resembling waiting in an ordinary, slow waiting room. The writings have been added to the collage using acrylic, oil paint, and marker. It contains a search for meaning and a questioning of existence. Each of the paintings comes with a "tale of the painting" and a "certificate of authenticity." With my wish that it brings beauty to your life.
