Do you still feel the spirit of the ancient cities you have visited? When your hand touches a column, do you wonder who else has touched it and wish you could have witnessed it yourself? In this work, I depicted a modern tile panel using classical tile motifs. The reed path motif I used intertwines with the columns, stretching from the past to the present. It reveals that delicate bond between ancient times and today's life, inviting the viewer into a dream where two eras merge. In this work, ready-made ceramic bisque tiles were used. Under-glaze tile technique and over-glaze gilding were applied on the bisque. It was glazed with Kütahya tile glaze at 930 degrees.
