No Pulse is a small-format composition in acrylic on canvas measuring 24.5×23 cm, which paradoxically carries an extremely vibrant energy. The title stands like a contradiction. If there is no pulse, there should be silence and stillness; yet this canvas does exactly the opposite — something happens in every corner, no area rests, no color falls silent. This paradox forms the strongest conceptual layer of the work. The absence of a pulse is sometimes not an expression of true stopping, but of stepping outside the usual rhythm, a state where normal criteria are no longer valid. Or the opposite: it is a painting of silence too deep to be felt, that heavy moment when emotions freeze. The composition is stretched between these two readings and harbors both simultaneously. The dark navy and black masses in the upper part are heavy, motionless and oppressive — representing that dark area where the pulse stops, where time is suspended. However, red, orange and green forms flow explosively downward from just beneath these dark masses. This flow is both a dissolution and an unexpected resistance; it is a declaration that even where there is no pulse, color, energy and movement continue to exist. The open area in the center of the composition — this breathing zone created by white, light green and turquoise together — is the most honest point within all this tension. This place is neither completely dark nor completely bright; it is that critical threshold where the pulse is sought but cannot be found, where only silence is heard when listened to. The wide green and blue areas on the right and the curves where red flows toward this region symbolize life's persistence, the hidden movement within everything that appears to have stopped. Thin lines — blue, orange, green — stretch freely within the square format. These lines evoke cardiogram traces; but they do not draw a regular rhythm, they scatter and are interrupted. This is the visual equivalent not of the absence of pulse, but of the pulse being unreadable, unmeasurable. No Pulse, despite its small size, opens a large emotional space. The work goes beyond a medical metaphor to speak to every moment when love, connection, motivation or hope is exhausted. But the fact that the colors are so vibrant and insistent whispers one last thing: the pulse may be unmeasurable, but life is not yet over.
